Louis Theroux – Miami Megajail sees Louis in Miami, a city which is a party town full of glamour. Away from the tourist spots though the city has a dark underbelly of violent crime. Miami-Dade County is also home to a so-called “Megajail”. He takes an in-depth look at the chaotic holding pen for those waiting for their day in court.
In the first episode of this two-part series, Louis spends time in one of the most notorious sections of Miami County Jail: the fifth and sixth floor of ‘Main Jail’, where many of the most volatile inmates are incarcerated. Contains some strong language.
