Kenya McQueen is a successful African-American CPA, working her way to the top of the corporate ladder — but her life has become all work and no play. The Beatles - Ultimate Christmas Collection (1998)

Vigotone is a label of incredible reputation, and one of the most collectable Beatleg Labels available.

Starting in 1990 Vigotone began to release many Beatles Solo and Group titles, most from excellent tape sources. Early releases were normally simple discs with jewel cases, but later this label would become synonymous with the ‘slipcase’ outer packaging. Excellent music along with this glossy packaging made this one of the most desirable labels for collectors and mint condition Vigotone Brands are amongst the hardest discs to find, and therefore most pricey.

Vigotone is also famous for it’s many sister labels such as: Spank, Pegboy, Howdy!, Slick-O, Bag, Repro-Man and Madman - labels which also used similar packaging and media to Vigotone.

Jazz in Paris – Barney Wilen – Jazz Sur Seine (1958)

Into one informal recording session, put one young French tenor player (Barney Wilen)and two master Jazz rhythm players (Percy Heath and Kenny Clark)together with one timeless Jazz genius playing something other than his usual instrument (Milt Jackson on piano) and have them play French songs. What could possibly go wrong? Well, nothing, as it turned out. Wilen was sensational; Heath and Clark, along with percussionist Gana M'Bow were at their usual high standard; the session may have been informal, but it was also pretty well planned; the French songs were by Django and Trenet; and the amazing Milt amazed by playing the piano in both the tradional manner and, as the vibes player he is, rapid-fire with two fingers.
You'll dig it.
